Bucky is a very affectionate and playful kitten who was originally rescued by a lady who found him in Santa Paula as a small kitten. She took good care of him, but she also owned a very large dog who doesn't like cats and wanted to eat him.
She recently contacted Cats Cradle and asked if we could find him a new home. Can you help us find a forever home for Bucky? He hasn't been with us very long so we don't know a lot about his personality, except that he is very very affectionate and LOVES to have his beautiful long coat brushed and will roll over for a belly brush too. She told us he was born in June 2010. He looks big, but he isn't fat, just very FLUFFY!
He loves to play with toys and is learning to play with the other foster kittens. He is very calm when approached by the resident cats and will flop down on his side when an older cat hisses at him. His play is still a bit too energetic for a few of the younger kittens so it might be better if he was adopted to a family with a cat or cats his age or older.

Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family. Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal. Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip. We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
