Kathy G is a funny and playful girl with lots of "cat-titude". Orange tabby girl kittens are rarer than the boys and this beautiful friendly girl is very special. She is going to be the "boss" kitty wherever she goes, and she loves to be held and loved and lets you know with an instant loud purr when you pick her up and cuddle her. She also loves to take a flying leap and land on your shoulder for a view from the top! Kathy G. was adopted as a young kitten, but financial issues forced the adopter to return her to us. She is very comfortable around young children and would be a Purrrfect addition to a family with children. Born around April 1 in Terra Bella in the San Joaquin Valley, Kathy G and her two brothers and three sisters grew up with lots of kids playing with them. They were saved from the sad fate of being eaten by the local wildlife and brought as young kittens to Ventura. Their rescuing foster mom didn’t have room for all of them so she took some of them to the Ojai Humane Society so the OHS could find homes for them. It didn’t work out as hoped and they were scheduled to be euthanized in early June. Fortunately CCR was able to take custody of them and we worked very hard to find forever homes for these beautiful, friendly, outgoing, and affectionate kittens. Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family. Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal. Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip. We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
