“Smudgie the SWEET Stray” will run up to you, and walk between your legs... PURRING LIKE A FURRY LITTLE MOTOR BOAT!  She wants to be petted!  She likes relaxing with you, and will fall deeply to sleep.  She is also content on her own, and enjoys snoozing in a sunny window. 

Smudgie is a healthy young girl who we believe was dumped in our North Carolina neighborhood well over a month ago.  With nowhere else to go, this preciousness decided to adopt us.  Even after having to live in survival mode, having to hunt for food, Smudgie is such a DELIGHTFULLY NICE GIRL!  

Problem….we have a high-prey dog that wants to devour her!  It’s been very stressful on our dog and taking its toll on all of us, including little Smudgie!  WE ARE DESPERATE for either a foster or new home for Smudgie!  She very much deserves a loving home…for her happiness, and for her safety! 

We had Smudgie fully vetted and spayed by our own veterinarian, who reports that she is approximately 8 months old and that she is a healthy girl.  We also got her microchipped and treated for fleas/ticks/ear mites, and she tested negative for FeLV.  Smudgie is also a champ with her litter box, and she uses it faithfully.  She’s just the sweetest thing!  She never showed any aggression even while being probed and prodded and vaccinated at the vet’s office.

SMUDGIE IS SWEETNESS ON STEROIDS!  She is also gorgeous, with an elegant and shiny black coat and sparkling green eyes.  But she needs a safe place to call home!  If you can provide a safe home….a sunny window and a warm lap…, or if you can foster her, Smudgie will very happily be your new love!

Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption; however, kittens receive two vaccinations.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.

Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
