Popcorn, or "Poppy" as she's known in her foster home, is a very sweet kitty who knows her own mind...and what she likes. For instance, while she's adjusting to her new home, adopters might want to play her favorite movie...Ice Age! As you can see in the photos...she will sit and watch for hours.

Speaking of a new home, Miss Popcorn can get a little overwhelmed in new places, and hasn't had a lot of luck at the adoption center because of that. However in her foster home she is a completely different girl who will meow for attention or other things she wants. 

We've found that she enjoys quiet spaces like a modified cabinet or kitty cubby. Small, partially covered spaces make her feel safe until she acclimates to new surrounding. Once you gain her trust she enjoys sitting next to you for pets and ear scratches, especially at bedtime.

We also feel that she would be best in a home with a cat savvy adult(s) as she will need patience and a gentle, respectful touch. Not ideal for a home with small children. And while it's not a requirement, Popcorn would LOVE to be adopted with her quieter foster sister, Lilith (also shown in picture on cat tree), whom she's been with basically her whole life.

Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption; however, kittens receive two vaccinations.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.

Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
