Dulce is SWEET, SNUGGLY and LOVING! Just 7 1/2 months, she is affectionate and loves to cuddle cozy on her foster's lap (as you can see in her fourth photo!), and tucked right up next to her. Dulce would stay there all day long if she could!  She will do well in a home with someone who enjoys spending time snuggling and playing with her.

Dulce was rescued on Halloween. We could hear her worried baby meows on a walking trail next to the Ventura river. After following her meows, we discovered a sweet, friendly and adorable Tortoiseshell kitten, who was very hungry! Our friends took her into the vet, where she received her vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, microchip, and was spayed. We received news that she tested positive for FeLV, however her infection was regressive and it was likely that she would make a full recovery! She has made this full recovery and tested negative for FeLV on 12/30/21. During this vet visit she also received follow up vaccinations. Her veterinarian says Dulce is now perfectly healthy!

Dulce is still very talkative, like how we first met her. But she no longer meows in fear -- now she talks because she likes to! She is very cute, with her face half orange and half black.  Her personality is cute too!  She is playful, smart, and well-behaved.  Dulce likes laser pointers, chasing kitty balls, cat trees, looking out the window, and snuggling!  She loves when you pet her, gently and sweetly pressing back into your hand for more (as she does in her video).  She can take a bit of time to adjust to new surroundings, but once she does, Dulce is confident, comfortable, trusting, and oh-so-loving!
