Sunny wandered into our foster's yard one day, and refused to leave. It was clear that he spent some time on the streets, he was skinny, hungry, and his left eye was scratched, but he was ready to be a house kitty now! He loves sitting on a lap, giving head bumps, and all the attention you give him. He loves making biscuits and gets so happy when you give him head scratches. He also loves treats and appreciates a good catnip! Sunny has fun with kitty toys, but what he wants most of all is love!
Sunny is the sweetest cat! He gets along well with kids, the dogs he has met, and other cats (he made friends with a neighbor's cat and talks to other cats through a window). He is very smart; he knows what No means and he respects boundaries. Like most street cats, he is FIV-positive. He has no symptoms and does not currently require any special treatment. Happily, he is FeLV negative. His left eye is looking better already in just the time since we found him. The veterinarian said it might heal more although it will probably never be fully healed. Sunny does not mind a bit; he uses his good eye and does great!
We estimate Sunny’s age at four or five. He is now neutered, has excellent litter box habits, BS had his flea treatment and rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. Sunny is all ready to join his forever home!
Sunny is a wonderfully affectionate cat. He does not want to live outdoors for sure; he does not even go outside when the door is open. We hope a kind person will give Sunny a home where he can have all the love he wants and deserves.
