Smokey and her siblings were born in Ventura around May 17, 2019 and rescued by a cat lover who cared for them and is working with Cats Cradle Rescue to find them new homes.

Smokey is a curious kitten who loves to play with her brother Sunny and lots and lots of toys!  She's a bit more shy than brother Sunny, but warms up quickly when toys are around!   Both are good with dogs and children.

If you would like to meet Sunny and Smokey, they will be shown for adoption at  Cats Cradle Rescue Adoption Center in Ventura on some Saturdays and Sundays.

The   Cats Cradle Rescue Adoption Center in Ventura is located at  1954 E. Main St., corner of Main and Santa Cruz.  Usual hours are noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (805-485-8811).

We are all-volunteer and non-profit so sometimes  we just don't have enough volunteers available to staff adoption events.  We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.

Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
