Hi! My name is Socks!

I’m a Gray Tabby with white feet and I’m a boy. I was born around May 3 and was rescued when I was only about 4 weeks old!  I’m a super special guy because I’m equal parts (EXTRA) playful and cuddly. I’m a  very fun kitty and would do just fine with a dog - my foster family has a chihuahua I love to play with. My foster mom’s dream adoption for me would be to go home with Waffles (my sister) or to a family that wants to play with me A LOT.

The   Cats Cradle Rescue Adoption Center in Ventura is located at  1954 E. Main St., corner of Main and Santa Cruz.  Usual hours are noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (805-485-8811).

We are all-volunteer and non-profit so sometimes  we just don't have enough volunteers available to staff adoption events.  We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.

Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
