We rescued Mikey 2 days after he was hit by a car and very badly hurt -- shattered pelvis, he could not walk or stand, swollen and covered with blood.  With medical care and healing time, he is now beautifully recovered, happily cuddling with his foster parents, running, prancing, playing, and loving life!  

Mikey loves romping at the dog park with other small dogs, and does the cutest "doggie bows" inviting play!  He will do best in a home with no other dogs, or with a little male dog.  He is good with cats.

Mikey's specialty is LOVE!!  He touches your heart each time he leaps into your lap and flops down across your lap, so glad to be feeling safe and sharing love -- staring up at you, eyes bright and that cute smile of his, telling you that he loves you forever!  Mikey is happy just being in your presence. He is pure sweetness!

Mikey will do great with someone who is home a lot (works from home, retired, etc.) and likes to spend time with their dog.  He is happiest sitting in a comfy spot laying across your lap - cuddling is his favorite!

Mikey will love someone who can take him out for lots of daily walks.  He does not care if they are long walks or short walks, he just likes to go out for walks with his person. 

Mikey can take a little time getting comfortable with new people or situations, yet he does get comfortable and turns back into his loving self!  But for this reason, we think Mikey will do best in a home with just one or two adults, not many visitors, and a person who is home with Mikey most of the time or takes Mikey along when the person goes out. 

Mikey is a Bichon + Poodle mix, maybe with some Maltese, a very spry and cuddly-snuggly 8 years, perfect lap-size at 17 pounds, full of darling curls and a face of pure happiness.  Mikey is a doll -- he is very, very, very affectionate, super cute and absolutely darling! 

Mikey is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Mikey's vet records from the shelter and since we rescued him are all available.  His Veterinarian says his injuries are all healed, he has been strong and he is in great health!

Mikey can only be adopted within the Southern California area.

Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption; however, kittens receive two vaccinations.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.

Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
