Little Stevie is almost totally blind, but it barely slows him down! 

The Amazing Wonder-cat Stevie was born 5-15-17 and came into our care with severe eye damage and infection.  His right eye was so badly damaged that it needs to be removed. 

We have an appointment with a local vet to have the surgery done in a few weeks. 

Update!  Stevie has had his eye surgery and should be back in our adoption center before Christmas!  What a little trooper!

His other eye is also damaged, but mostly intact and we think he may be able to see light and perhaps shadows with it. Stevie LOVES to be with people and sit on laps and get gentle petting.  He likes to do a quick sniff before being touched so he knows who you are, but is very loving.

Stevie did very well in his foster home, figuring out where all the furniture is located and using his whisker sonar to navigate around it and the other foster cats.  His best buddy and seeing eye cat is Jaffa, a little calico girl who is also up for adoption.  It would be a purrrfect holiday season for them if a kind and loving family could adopt both.  The two kittens play together, sleep together and stay close.  Jaffa knows Stevie needs a bit of help and support and she generously provides it.

Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.

Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
