Gorgeous Richard hugs everyone and wants to shower you with licks!  He is all smiles, cuddles and kisses with every human he meets.  He is the friendliest Shepherd ever!  He just wants to play and be loved!  This is a courtesy listing -- if you might like to adopt Richard, please use the contact info below.

Richard is not even 1 year old, a perfect purebred classic German Shepherd.  He has an exquisite face and the prettiest bright amber eyes. 

Richard is amazingly smart, even for a Shepherd.  When we first found him, we asked him to sit in the back seat; it took asking him only once and he stayed there, beautifully.  When you tell him something, you can see him making connections and learning.  He will be a breeze to teach more new things!  He loves tennis ball games.  Richard has been great with other dogs too.  All tail wags and play bows.  He is so sweet and submissive.  With a little Boston Terrier, Richard rolled onto his back so he could be smaller and show he wanted to be friends. 

Richard was found when he wandered into a business.  He must have been lost for a  long time  -- he was so skinny his ribs showed!  We took him straight to the and got him thoroughly checked out.  Other than being skinny, he got a clean bill of health!  Of course he also got everyone at the Vet's to let him kiss and hug them!  : )  We got him vaccinations, flea meds and cleaned up some little sores on his ears from being outside.  And a bath.  He will be neutered as soon as he puts on a bit of weight.  

When Richard puts on more weight, he will be about 70 pounds.  He may have just a bit more growing to do too, but not much.  He has perfect "up" German Shepherd ears and a straight back.  He is stunningly beautiful -- he is truly the most of everything good.  It probably seems like we are exaggerating about how friendly, smart and beautiful he is -- but he really is this great!!!

This fantastic boy needs a home.  The people who found him are in love with him but they cannot have a dog.  Richard is being fostered in the San Fernando Valley/Thousand Oaks area.
